The Sovereign Center first opened its doors in September of 2001, since then it continues to host a variety of different entertainment – from the local VF Berks Jazz Fest to world-class touring concerts. Currently, the arena is home to the Reading Royals, an ECHL ice hockey team and the Reading Express, an indoor football team.

 

The Sovereign Performing Arts Center, formerly the historic Rajah Theatre,  is home to the Reading Symphony Orchestra and the Broadway on 6th Street series. It also hosts numerous different concert and performance events including Willie Nelson, Hillary Duff, Jerry Seinfeld, David Copperfield, and Sesame Street Live.
